Women Powered by Withings

As we approach the 50th Boston 10K for Women, our sponsor Withings will recognize 10 amazing athletes that reflect the courage, determination, and passion of our running community. We hope this ongoing blog series will introduce some new and familiar faces, and inspire you on your 10K journey.

As a mom of two, her days are full before they even begin. Early mornings, long nights, and the constant demands of motherhood leave little room for ideal routines. But Miranda doesn’t wait for the perfect moment to run.

Her training happens in the margins—between responsibilities, during early wakeups, and often on very little sleep. It’s not always pretty, but it’s consistent. And for Miranda, that’s what matters most.

Last year, she lined up at the Boston 10K for Women after a night that would stop most runners in their tracks. Running on just three hours of sleep after caring for a sick baby, she could have easily stayed home. Instead, she chose to stand at the start line.

And then she did something incredible—she ran a personal best.

That race became more than just a finish time. It became proof of something bigger: that consistency beats perfection, and grit will always outpace excuses.

Miranda’s journey is one that so many women understand. It’s about balancing ambition with responsibility, pushing forward even when you’re exhausted, and carving out space for yourself in a life that’s constantly asking for more.

This October, Miranda will return to the Boston 10K for Women—not just to race, but to represent every mom who is pursuing her goals while carrying the weight of everything else, too.

Because showing up, again and again, is its own kind of strength.
