Where Is It?

Why?

Navigating postpartum recovery is one of the most critical and challenging phases a female runner faces. Beyond post-birth recovery, women also experience significant physical changes during perimenopause and menopause that affect performance, injury risk, and mood. While general running advice exists, specialized guidance on postpartum body mechanics, pelvic floor safety and lifespan transition is hard to find. This series provides evidence-based, compassionate care strategies directly to runners from trusted health specialists.

Who?

The sessions will be led by two experts:

Dr. Hannah Mecaskey Conley, LICSW, LABA
Therapist specializing in women’s and postpartum mental health, running coach and Boston 10K for Women Race Ambassador.

Dr. Nyssa Midden, PT, DPT
Owner of Flowstate Physiotherapy, specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy, women’s health, and return-to-running.
