Past champions and world-class talents to square off in downtown Boston
We’re excited to announce our field of elite athletes competing in the Boston 10K for Women!
Athletes representing various training groups across the US will descend on Boston Common for the 48th running of the event, led by defending champion Annie Rodenfels of Boston, and 2022 Champion Erika Kemp. They’ll compete among talented field of professionals including Amanda Vestri of North Carolina, Bethany Jerde of Boston, and Emily Venters of Utah.
The horn will sound near Boston Common at 9:00 AM, and nearly 5,000 expected runners will stream out of Boston, into Cambridge, and back along a scenic and flat course. A full list of elite athletes is below!
The talented field includes Megan Sailor who lives and trains in Boston, Sara Lopez from Port Orchard, Washington, Lilly Tuck from Sunderland Ontario, and a quartet of athletes from the Hansons-Brooks Training Program in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Defending race champion Rodenfels seeks to be the first repeat champion since 2009–2010, when Molly Huddle won her second and third of five titles. These athletes will contend for a $10,000 first-place prize and vie to best the course record of 31:18, set by American Weini Kelati in 2021.
