Group Training Runs

Your autumn just got way more fun!

Back to help you run your best 10K, we’re thrilled to introduce a series of at-home training runs to help get you moving and prepared for 6.2 miles this October. Simply cover the assigned distance on the day outlined below, and share a photo with us on social media, using #startstrongfinishstronger in your post. We can’t wait to see you out there.

Official 10- and 5-week training plans will be shared with all registrants before the race, and will incorporate these group runs.

Wednesday, May 5

Cinco de MILE

Time to shake off the winter blues, speedy. Find a safe stretch of pathway, sidewalk, or trail and put your speed to the test. How fast can you run one mile? Share your post-run glory with us by tagging us on social media, and use #StartStrongFinishStronger to get in on the fun.

Wednesday, June 2

Global Running Day!

Join us virtually (or perhaps in-person) for a two-mile run to celebrate Global Running Day. If we can safely hold an in-person run, we will share the details. If not, we’ll welcome you to take it on at a location convenient to you, and be part of a global day of movement.

Thursday, July 15

A Midsummer Night’s THREE

Join us either virtually or in person at REI’s Boston location for a fun and casual three-mile run along the Emerald Necklace Park System. More details to come.
