Start strong, finish stronger
Race Date:
In working with the City of Boston, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and various public health agencies, we are planning to host an in-person event this October at Boston Common. In accommodating our running friends at the B.A.A., we were happy to yield our traditional race date so that the 125th Boston Marathon can be held.
We are awaiting approvals on a new race date, which would be on a weekend morning in October. Once such approvals are granted, we will share the news.
Registration:
An opening date for race registration will be announced. Race registration will be conducted online through the race website. The registration fee will be $50, and the first registrants will receive a limited edition long-sleeve shirt provided by REI.
Number Pick-Up:
Runners will have the option to pick up their bib number and shirt before race day at various REI locations. A full schedule of pick-up times and locations will be shared here and via email. Runners will also be able to pick up their bib number on the morning of the race at Boston Common.
COVID-19:
Race organizers will work in cooperation with public health agencies to ensure the race is contested in the safest possible manner, with appropriate measures enacted to prevent the spread of COVID-19. More details will be forthcoming.
